Why 'For the Love of Law'? It's my surname!
Having completed a BA hons in Fashion Design & Marketing, my first business venture started up in April 2007 as 'Little Pearl Button' jewellery. (www.littlepearlbutton.co.uk)
For those who have met me (you can visit me at Spitalfields market, Brushfield Street, London 0n Sundays, Greenwich Market on Saturdays) will know that I make clothing as well. At present these are the only places you will find my clothing exclusively... Come say hello...
All my pieces are made individually by me with love, care & attention to detail, not mass produced nor was anyone exploited.
All leather I source are from suppliers that sell leather from animals that is a by-product of the food industry.
My 'Coffee Sacs' are made from original coffee bean bags which have been brought from a dedicated coffee bar.
All fabrics used are either from my own 10-year archive collection or sourcing end-of-line, remnant fabrics & where possible organic fairtrade cotton therefore making each piece a limited edition.
I aim to operate on a minimal wastage process, all scraps are used to make jewellery bags that you get free with 'Little Pearl Button' jewellery, any smaller scraps are donated to my good friend Myra who makes amazing fabric which is then used to make oyster/card/passport holders & wallets.
